Our general research interest is the structure and
function of the myosin family of molecular motors
in vitro and in vivo. Specific research interests
include the molecular basis of energy transduction
that leads to ATP-driven myosin movement on actin,
especially in relation to power output changes in human beta-cardiac myosin deriving from hypertrophic and dilated cardiomyopathy mutations.
